Offshore Energy and Storage Symposium Returning to Woods Hole

WOODS HOLE – The international Offshore Energy and Storage Society has announced that they will be conducting a symposium later this week in Woods Hole.
The event, which will take place at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution will focus on offshore energy generation, storage technology, environmental integration and policy, as well as expanding global markets.
Nils Bolgen who serves as Wind Program Director at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center will be a featured presenter at the event offering a presentation titled: “Leading Strategic Investment in Clean Energy Systems.”

In total, there will be more than 50 presentations at the three-day symposium, including panel discussions on topics including Coastal and Offshore Energy Harvesting, Storage and Generating Technologies, Islanded Energy System Innovations, Environmentally Symbiotic Relationships in Energy Systems, Coastal and Offshore Carbon Capture and Sequestration Technology and Policy, and Innovative Mechanisms in Renewable Energy Market Design.
The Offshore Energy and Storage Society will take place July 12th thru the 14th at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Woods Hole.
